Talent mapping
Talent mapping is the practice of researching and charting the best people for a role or function across a market — before any of them are approached — so a company has a live picture of who's out there, where, and how reachable.
Search firms build talent maps continuously, not only when a role opens. The map records who holds equivalent seats, who's rising, and who fits a future brief — turning a cold search into a warm shortlist when the moment comes.
