Executive Search in Amsterdam
The Quantum Club is an Amsterdam-born executive search partner and invitation-only members club. We place senior leaders, operators, and creative talent for the city's most ambitious houses, on a No Cure, No Pay basis, reaching the people the open market never lists. Amsterdam-rooted, operating worldwide.
Hiring the exceptional in Amsterdam
Amsterdam's best operators are rarely on the market, and the roles that need them are rarely posted. A local job ad reaches the actively-looking; the people who move a house forward are usually employed and quietly excellent. Senior circles here are close, so a visible search can be noticed by the people it concerns before it reaches the person it needs. Executive search exists to reach that person directly, discreetly, and through relationships the open market doesn't have. Every mandate the Club runs is exclusive to The Quantum Club, and the vast majority are never publicly listed anywhere.
What the Club's Amsterdam network covers
Amsterdam is where the Club was founded, in 2023, and where much of its proof lives. It placed the leadership behind a modest-fashion house that opened the city's first modest-fashion store, built the full launch team for Mike Tyson's Amsterdam flagship and, on that referral, the team that opened Snoop Dogg's flagship store. It placed creative and operational leadership for No Art, the Amsterdam label that took its sold-out shows to three continents, and a Head of Growth and a CFO for the Amsterdam founders behind Dore & Rose and Hears. Behind those mandates sits a vetted network of 1,000+ members worldwide, and executives the Club has placed have come from houses such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Apple and ASML.
Hiring into Amsterdam from abroad
A senior search for an Amsterdam seat can cross a border: the right person may be in another European capital, and the move has to work for a whole life, not only a job. The Club weighs location, family and lifestyle in every match, so relocation is raised at the brief rather than discovered at the offer. One practical point for the employer: under the Dutch tax authority's Expat Scheme, known as the 30% facility, an employer may pay part of a qualifying hire's salary untaxed, for up to five years. The person must have been recruited from outside the Netherlands, meet a salary threshold, and have lived more than 150 kilometers from the Dutch border for more than 16 of the 24 months before starting. The conditions are the Belastingdienst's and change over time, so confirm eligibility with your payroll or tax adviser before the offer is made.
Discretion in a small city
At the top, Amsterdam is a small city, which makes confidentiality a working requirement rather than a courtesy. Stealth, NDA-backed searches are the default: no public listing, the brand and the figures shared only as trust is established, and every approach confirmed with the principal first, so nobody's time is wasted on either side. Candidates are protected the same way. A member's interest is never shared with anyone, including a current employer, without explicit consent, and the timing of references is agreed with the candidate first, so a move is not revealed before the candidate has resigned.
Built in Amsterdam, proven across the city's houses
From a modest-fashion house opening its first Amsterdam store to a world champion's flagship, the Club has placed the teams behind some of the city's most talked-about launches, and the TYSON 2.0 team it placed is still in place today. Across all of its work, the Club has placed 120+ executives in 40+ industries, with 98% satisfaction among clients and candidates alike. Amsterdam-rooted, operating worldwide. Talent placed, not posted.

Frequently asked
How much does an executive search firm in Amsterdam cost?
No Cure, No Pay: nothing for the search and no retainer. A fee is owed only when a hire you chose signs: 25% of the agreed gross annual salary unless your agreement fixes another rate, with partner rates agreed per engagement. The guarantee is as laid down in your agreement, honored as a free replacement search or a credit against your next placement, never as a cash refund.
Do you only place roles in Amsterdam?
No. The Club is Amsterdam-rooted but operates worldwide, having placed 120+ executives across 40+ industries. Amsterdam is home and a deep network; the reach is global.
How fast can you start a search?
A partner strategist replies within 24 hours to scope the brief, in confidence, and a pre-qualified slate can follow almost immediately.
How long does an executive search in Amsterdam take?
A senior search typically takes two to four months from brief to signed offer, and confidential or highly specialised roles can run longer. A pre-vetted network removes much of the early research, so the pace usually depends most on how quickly decisions are made.
Can you hire someone into Amsterdam from abroad?
Yes. The Club weighs location, family and lifestyle in every match, so relocation is part of the conversation from the brief. Employers should also check whether the hire qualifies for the Dutch Expat Scheme (the 30% facility), which the Belastingdienst grants only under specific conditions; confirm with your payroll or tax adviser.
Can an executive search in Amsterdam stay confidential?
Yes. Stealth, NDA-backed searches are the default: no public listing, and identities protected until trust is established. A candidate's interest is never shared with a current employer without explicit consent.
Where is The Quantum Club based?
